Job Description And Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP MDG-M Functional Consultant with strong Material Master expertise to take on stream lead responsibility within a large-scale SAP transformation program and support the design, build, and deployment of the global template.
The role will focus on material master governance, master data flows, supply chain-related data processes, and cross-functional integration, working closely with business and IT stakeholders across the global program.
The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on SAP MDG-M expertise with a solid understanding of Supply Chain Planning, A2R processes, and turntable/intercompany operating models.
What you will be doing:
- Lead or co-lead a workstream covering master data flows, master data architecture, version handling, and multi-source supply scenarios.
- Bring strong SAP MDG-M expertise into target master data architecture, governance processes, and data flow design.
- Support the design of material master processes across SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with business, supply chain, data, and IT stakeholders.
- Develop target concepts, solution proposals, and decision papers for management sign-off.
- Identify system-specific topics, integration requirements, and cross-stream dependencies.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and other functional teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
- Support the design and deployment of the global template, including rollout and localization activities.
- Document design decisions, processes, and requirements to support template build and deployment.
- Contribute to the alignment of master data processes with Supply Chain Planning, A2R, and intercompany/turntable processes.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP MDG experience, with a strong focus on the Material (MDG-M) domain, including data models, governance workflows, and distribution/DRF.
- Strong understanding of Material Master structures and processes in SAP S/4HANA and ECC.
- Proven experience as a Stream Lead / Workstream Lead within large-scale SAP transformation programs.
- Experience supporting global template design, build, deployment, and rollout activities.
- Strong understanding of master data flows and integration across supply chain processes.
- Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across business and IT functions in a complex global program.
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have:
- Supply Chain Planning, including intercompany supply and multi-source supply scenarios.
- A2R (Acquire-to-Retire) processes and their related master data requirements.
- Turntable / intercompany operating models, including company structures and intercompany trading models in global supply chain environments.
- Experience integrating Material Master processes with broader Supply Chain and Planning processes.
- Pharma / Life Sciences experience, ideally with awareness of GxP requirements.
- German language skills.
