Job Description And Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Strategy & Migration Consultant (Pharma) (m/f/d) to lead strategic data initiatives within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. This permanent role is ideal for a data leader who brings deep expertise in data architecture, governance, and migration, with a proven ability to deliver enterprise-level solutions in regulated environments. You will begin by spearheading a high-priority data procurement strategy project and continue to influence long-term transformation programs across pharma clients. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical clients on data strategy, architecture, and governance.
- Lead the design and execution of a 6-week data procurement strategy for a major pharma client.
- Manage end-to-end data migration and integration initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement enterprise-level data strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Apply data governance best practices using platforms like Collibra and Informatica.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to internal enablement through documentation and template development.

Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data strategy, architecture, or migration—preferably in regulated pharma environments.
- Strong domain knowledge of pharmaceutical/life sciences data (e.g., R&D, Commercial, Regulatory).
- Proficiency with tools such as Snowflake, SAP, Veeva, Collibra, Informatica, and IQVIA.
- Proven leadership in delivering both short-term strategy projects and large-scale transformations.
- Familiarity with agile, hybrid, or waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring skills.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
