Job Description And Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant with hands-on data migration experience to support a global transformation program in the pharmaceutical sector. The consultant will be responsible for implementing and optimizing production planning processes while ensuring accurate and compliant migration of master and transactional data into the new SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the SAP PP module configuration and implementation, ensuring seamless integration with related modules such as QM, MM, and PM.
Drive and execute data migration activities including extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and load of PP master data (BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, etc.) and transactional data.
Collaborate with business process owners and data teams to define data migration strategy, mapping logic, and quality controls.
Conduct fit-gap analysis, functional specifications, testing (SIT/UAT), and provide post-go-live support.
Support production execution, capacity planning, MRP, and shop floor control processes to align with business and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all production planning and data migration activities comply with GxP and validation standards in a regulated environment.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
Contribute to training, documentation, and knowledge transfer for end users and internal teams.

Qualifications
Minimum 8+ years of SAP implementation experience, with at least 5 years in SAP PP.
Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably using tools such as SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, or SAP Migration Cockpit.
Strong functional understanding of production planning, MRP, discrete/process manufacturing, and integration points with MM/QM.
Experience in S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects is highly preferred.
Background in pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance (GMP) is advantageous.
Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills across global and cross-functional teams.
