Job Description And Responsibilities
What You Will Be Doing
- Define and lead the enterprise SAP Master Data strategy, governance model, and operating framework.
- Establish and maintain global master data governance policies, standards, and procedures
- Act as the primary point of contact for all SAP MDM-related topics across business and IT.
- Lead large-scale data migration, harmonization, and transformation initiatives, including SAP implementations and S/4HANA programs.
- Ensure high data quality standards through monitoring frameworks, KPIs, data audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and optimize master data workflows, approval processes, and role-based governance models.
- Manage and mentor MDM consultants, data stewards, and cross-functional project teams.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align master data strategy with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
- Identify risks related to data integrity and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements within master data processes.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP experience, with extensive focus on Master Data Management.
- Proven track record of leading SAP MDM initiatives in complex, global environments.
- You should be located in Portugal and have the legal right to work there
- Deep understanding of SAP master data structures and integration across modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, etc.).
- Strong experience in SAP data migration tools and methodologies (e.g., Migration Cockpit, LSMW, ETL tools).
- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing master data governance frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.
- Experience working in multi-country, matrix organizations.
- Industry experience in manufacturing, pharma, retail, or supply chain-driven organizations is a plus.
