Job Description And Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support a contract based project in Penang. This role will focus on delivering end-to-end Finance solutions, supporting business users, and ensuring smooth system operations across SAP Finance modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
  • Perform system configuration, testing, and deployment of finance-related enhancements
  • Support integration activities with other SAP modules such as MM and SD
  • Assist in data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities
  • Provide support during UAT, go-live, and hypercare phases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner
  • Prepare functional documentation and user training materials

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with strong functional knowledge
  • Hands-on experience in GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting
  • Experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation or multiple support projects
  • Strong understanding of business processes in Finance and Accounting
  • Experience with integration points between FICO and other SAP modules
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work onsite in Penang for the duration of the project
