Job Description And Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager (m/f/d) with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics to join our organisation. In this permanent position, you will lead complex ERP implementation projects, managing technical teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive business value. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project governance, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively in both German and English.

  • Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics implementation projects from initiation through to successful deployment and post-go-live support
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Manage cross-functional teams comprising technical developers, business analysts, and functional consultants, providing mentorship to junior team members
  • Identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency measures as required
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement and maintain regular communication with senior management and business users
  • Monitor project performance against key metrics and KPIs, ensuring adherence to governance frameworks, quality standards, and organisational policies
  • Oversee requirements gathering, system configuration, testing protocols, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
  • Manage project budgets and control costs whilst maintaining quality and timeline objectives

Qualifications

**Required:**

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT project management within enterprise environments
  • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience managing Microsoft Dynamics (365, AX, NAV, or CRM) implementation projects
  • Fluent German language skills (written and spoken) and professional English proficiency
  • Proven expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, resources, and timelines on large-scale projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and people skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and business process modelling

**Desirable:**

  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
  • Background in financial services, manufacturing, or distribution sectors
