Job Description And Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior PMO to join our organisation. The PMO  supports the Project Management Office by maintaining governance standards, monitoring project performance, and providing portfolio reporting. This role focuses on delivery assurance, data analysis, and process support rather than direct team or people management.

Key Responsibilities

PMO Governance Support

  • Apply and maintain PMO methodologies, templates, and standards
  • Support stage-gate and project approval processes
  • Ensure projects comply with PMO policies and documentation requirements
  • Assist in PMO process improvement initiatives

Portfolio & Project Monitoring

  • Track project status, milestones, risks, and issues
  • Maintain portfolio dashboards and reporting packs
  • Support project prioritization and pipeline tracking
  • Provide data analysis for portfolio performance
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare weekly/monthly executive reports
  • Consolidate project data from multiple teams
  • Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
  • Produce insights and highlight delivery risks

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with project managers and workstream leads
  • Support governance forums and steering committees
  • Follow up on action items and status updates
  • Ensure timely reporting from project teams

Tools & Process Support

  • Maintain PM tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Clarity, Smartsheet)
  • Support resource and capacity tracking
  • Maintain document repositories and PMO knowledge base
  • Help standardize templates and workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • 3–6 years in PMO, project coordination, or project support roles
  • Experience working in structured project environments
  • Exposure to portfolio reporting and governance
  • Experience supporting (not leading) projects
  • Pharma experience is a plus

Certifications (nice to have)

  • CAPM
  • PRINCE2 Foundation
  • PMP (not required but valued)
