Job Description And Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD/MM Senior Consultant with additional expertise in QM to support business-critical processes within the pharmaceutical industry. This role focuses on RBDO (Run, Build, Deploy, Operate) activities, with strong involvement in data handling, system stability, and continuous improvement. The consultant will act as a key partner to business stakeholders and global IT teams to deliver effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level SAP SD, MM, and QM support across RBDO activities (run, build, deploy, operate).

  • Manage day-to-day incident resolution, problem management, and system troubleshooting to ensure business continuity.

  • Lead and execute change requests, enhancements, and system configurations within SD/MM and QM.

  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, perform impact analysis, and deliver solutions aligned with global templates and compliance standards.

  • Support and oversee data-related activities, including data migration, validation, and quality checks during deployments.

  • Perform functional testing, coordinate user acceptance testing, and support cutover/go-live readiness.

  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, validation standards).

  • Act as a subject matter expert for SD/MM processes, with integration touchpoints to FI/CO, WM, and other supply chain modules.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD and MM, with strong exposure to QM sub-module.

  • Solid understanding of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and quality management processes.

  • Proven track record in RBDO roles with strong focus on data handling, governance, and accuracy.

  • Experience in global or regional SAP environments within regulated industries (pharma preferred).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management in a multicultural environment.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
